I made an apple pie for the first time last week. People have always told me making pies was so hard. I actually found it to be one of the most easiest things I have done. Glad I finally decided to try it cause I will be making a lot more pies!

Did you make it from scratch? Slice up the apples and all that? We tend to take a shortcut and use the canned filling, and I'm not sure if sweeteners and things need to be added to that. We like the sort of apple pie that has the crumbly topping on it so we'll make that, kind of like apple crisp with a crust. LOL!

Yep I cut up the apples and everything. Did not make the pie crust but I do want to try that. My grandmother has a great pie crust recipe.
